Tourist farm Ljubica

The tourist farm Ljubica lies alone in middle of meadows, at the edge of Polhov Gradec dolomites, with a majestic look  at the Škofja Loka Hills, the Karavanke Mountain Range and the Julian Alps. We are hardly 25 km away from the popular winter ski resorts Cerkno, 13 km away from Stari vrh and 30 km away from Krvavec, the drive from Ljubljana to our farm takes less than half an hour of your time. Despite the secluded position and height above sea level, which measures exactly 650 m, is the road to the farm always accessible.

In 2008 we gained a certificate for organic farming, which in other words means, that the food we produce and use is made in a natural way.

The food we offer is home made – we grow vegetables, have our own milk and produce other milk products (sour cream, curd, butter), meat and meat products (sausages, dried beef called bržola).
We also have animals. At our farm you can find horses, cows, sheep, ducks, a donkey and rabbits. Our guests can help working, if they wish for this kind of relaxation.

Recreation possibilities:
Besides the peaceful surroundings and fresh air the tourist farm Ljubica offers many recreation possibilities. You can take a short distance walk in the nature, a longer walk to Bukov vrh, Pasja ravan or Sv. Urban, the most persistent can walk to Blegoš or Lubnik, if the weather conditions are suitable and the season is right. Those of you, who like sports, can play tennis, go cross-country skiing, swim in the river, fish, cycle, go bowling or hunting. To visit the farm in the winter is a special experience. During the day you can ski in the winter ski resorts Cerkno (25 km), Stari vrh (13 km), Krvavec (30 km) and relaxe in one of our well equiped and clean rooms in the evenings. Children can sledge near the farm. If you like short trips, you can visit Škofja Loka, Kranj, Bled-Bled Jezersko, Ljubljana and Postojna. The choice is yours.
